About the Event
In partnership with PCRF Australia (Palestine Children’s Relief Fund), join us for a special preview screening of the Academy Award nominated film The Voice of Hind Rajab followed by a panel discussion centred on humanitarian aid in Gaza. The panel includes:
- Dr Waleed Alkhazrajy, an experienced Anaesthesiologist and the Treasurer of Islamic Society South Australia (ISSA). He is a vocal advocate for a free Palestine, frequently speaking at rallies and events in his home state and beyond.
- Dr Nadia Hasan, a Paediatrician with an interest in infectious diseases and global health. She is a passionate supporter of children’s right to health and hopes to return to Gaza in the near future.
- Walter Marsh is a journalist and editor based in Tarntanya/Adelaide, and the author of Young Rupert: the making of the Murdoch empire (2023), and The Butterfly Thief: adventure, empire, and Australia’s greatest museum heist (2025).
PCRF Australia is a nonprofit organisation providing free, life-saving medical care to wounded and ill Palestinian children, regardless of religion or background. Through medical missions, urgent care, and long-term health system support, PCRF works to ensure that vulnerable children have access to the specialised treatment they need to survive and heal.
